Heugabel - farmer market and more

As one of the oldest market villages of the South Tyrol, San Candido will follow the tradition of the farmer's market with a demanding and innovative programm. The project is called "Heugabel" and describes the farmer market and the farmer life... here you find the program of the weeks:

Visit on a farm
In the afternoon, after a little walk we will reach a farm where we get insight into the life of the farmer. There we'll also have a little snack.

The mill
Nobody knows more about flour and grain as a miller. We start to a mill and after two hours we will know a lot of interest things about it.

Course for cooking
Hearty South Tyrolean cooking or classic cucina italiana: in Alta Pusteria you may enjoy both. Ýou have the possibility to participate at a course for cooking.

Walking from farm to farm at the mount San Candido
Walking past by different farms we have a wonderful view of the Dolomites. At the farm Mehlhof we can see the Tree Peaks.

Chees production
You have the possibility to visit the production of chees at a farmer. Certainly the products can be degustated afterwards.
