San Candido - Lienz
The cycling tour leads along a cycling path from San Candido via Versciaco and Prato Drava along the Drava River to Lienz. It is suitable for all kinds of bicycles.

San Candido - Brunico
The cycling tour leads along asphalt roads and well prepared gravel paths via meadows and through forests to the left of the main road to Brunico. During this very varied cycling tour you can discover the beautiful nature of the Puster Valley.
Route: San Candido, Dobbiaco, Villabassa, Monguelfo, Valdaora di Sopra, Valdaora di Mezzo, Valdaora di Sotto, Brunico. Do not be deceived by the difference in altitude of only 400 m; some stretches are rather demanding.

To the S. Silvestro Hut (ascent from Dobbiaco)
In the proximity of the Kaiserwasser factory at the end of the western village exit of San Candido, you cycle along an asphalted field path (cycling path San Candido - Dobbiaco) to the train station in Dobbiaco. From here take the road through Dobbiaco village in the direction of the S. Silvestro Valley to the Genziana Hut. After an initial slight gradient on the asphalt road, and the easy forest path along the S. Silvestro River, you reach the S. Silvestro Hut.

Panoramic cycle via Monte San Candido
This panoramic route can be implemented via Versciaco or via Dobbiaco.
Starting in San Candido you cycle via Dobbiaco and past several mountain farms always on an asphalt road in the direction of Costanosellari. Past Feichterhof Guesthouse to the next guesthouse, the Schopfenhof - here you could shorten the route by cycling down in the direction of Val Castello. Those who want to continue the tour should take the road above Anderterhof farm. Via Monte San Candido you reach the Stauderhof Guesthouse, and then Monte Versciaco after several up-hill and down-hill stretches. Return to San Candido via Versciaco.
Or: From San Candido to Versciaco, straight on to Monte Versciaco and Monte San Candido to Dobbiaco.

Small round tour of the mountain farms in San Candido
In San Candido starting at the newly build road subway at the eastern village border, via a moderately ascending asphalt road, past the Scheterhof farm and up to the Burgmannhof farm. The gradient ends here; now you can continue to Gadenhof, Ranerhof, and the Huberhof farms to the left. If you turn right at the Burgmannhof, you get to Kranzhof farm and Parflerhof farm on an asphalt road. From here you can descend to Außerbachlerhof farm via the newly built gravel road, and past the Pappingerhof farm back to Wiesthalerhof farm and further on via a field path along the rail line back to San Candido.

Via the toboggan run to Baranci Hut
From the Erschbaum sports centre go straight on, then left (in the direction of Baranci Hut), past a gate via an asphalt path (steep at the beginning), which leads onto a forest path of medium gradient afterwards. Continue along the fork via the Prati Ferrara meadows (very steep gravel path) to the thermal springs. From here go along a good forest path down to the Via Sesto road and back to San Candido.

To the Tre Scarperi Hut in the Val Campo di Dentro Valley
From San Candido via a cycling path (San Candido - Sesto) to the fork "Heilquellen Wildbad" (thermal springs), and on to the sign-post "Rifugio Tre Scarperi". The asphalt road with medium gradient leads to a car park. After the gate there are only a few kilometres until you see the Tre Scarperi Hut through a forest opening of the Val Campo di Dentro Valley.

San Candido - Forest Chapel
From the playground on an up-and-down hill forest path (castle path) to Hochraste, further on in the direction of the Forest Chapel (can not be seen when cycling past; it is located 5 minutes walk below the cycling route). If you take the left option at the fork you get to Waldruhe Hut at the Sesto Mountain. From here return to San Candido via Sesto.

Forest path to Dobbiaco Lake
From the Erschbaum sports centre to the left on a forest path and past the Kaiserwasser Company in the direction of Dobbiaco. The easily accessible path leads past the source of the Drava River, past the shooting range, and near Pension Emma in Dobbiaco it leads onto the main road to Cortina. Cross the road at Hotel Santer and continue to Dobbiaco Lake via the cycling path Dobbiaco - Cortina.

San Candido - Monte Elmo Restaurant
From the playground to the Waldruhe Hut at Sesto Monte di Mezzo. From here the path leads downwards to the crossroad, and then upwards past Panorama Guesthouse to the Monte di Mezzo Fortress. Turn left and continue to Prünsterhof. From here a gravel road of medium gradient and serpentines leads past the Larice Hut (1,830 m) and up to the Monte Elmo Restaurant (2,050 m).

Those who have even more stamina can continue their tour past the Gallo Cedrone Hut (2,250 m) up to Sillianer Hut (2,447 m). From here you can descend to Sillian via the Malga Leckfeld pastures (1,970 m), and then via the cycling path Lienz - San Candido back to your starting point.
