From Dobbiaco you can enjoy all kind of mountain sports in the Dolomites in summer: climb world-renowned peaks (like the Zsigmondy brothers or Reinhold Messner), enjoy alpine hikes with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain world - this is even possible with the comfort of a cable car - discover the mountain world with a mountain-bike (all levels of difficulty) or with a tour bike.
Combine the splendid round view from the Bonner Hut with a peak adventure at the Corno di Fana Mountain. Dobbiaco offers demanding fixed-aid climbs for training your climbing skills, and a visit to the adventure park is fun for both, young and old. Walk past the Dobbiaco Lake during one of your excursions, and enjoy Nordic walking on one of the extended paths in Alta Pusteria.
The bathing lake provides a welcome variation for swimmers and sun-worshippers, and for the sports, you can participate in a tennis or football match (small pitch) in Dobbiaco. In order to regain strength after all your activities, you should try a typical South Tyrolean dish or afternoon snack.
