With routes leading in all directions and featuring all levels of difficulty, which lead through shady spruce forests, to sunny alpine plateaus or to high-alpine paths and mountain passes amidst a world millions of years old consisting of Dolomit rocks. On your tours you can admire constantly changing natural scenery.
The professional Corratec cyclist Roland Stauder from Sesto is one of the best long-distance mountain-bikers in the world: he won the "Dolomiten Mann" competition, the Crocodile Trophy, he was European vice champion, winner of the mountain-bike marathon world cup, ...
In 2005, Sesto was a stage village of the adidas BIKE Transalp Challenge, and became the most popular stage village for participants!
For years, a big part of the supreme section of 110 km of the South Tyrolean Dolomiti Superbike has lead through Sesto (start in Niederdorf).
"Sexten" mountain-bike tour
35.2 km; 4 hours; 1,245m difference in altitude
The round tour is demanding and features steep sections. The descents do not feature any technical difficulties, and you get to know the valley of Sesto from all sides.
"Kreuzberg-Rotwandwiese" mountain-bike tour
33.5 km; 3 ¼ hours; 1,032m difference in altitude
A technically demanding tour with the necessity of pushing the bike after the Nemesalm. A small tract leads through the region of Veneto. After the beautifully located Rotwandwiesen meadows you cycle to the valley on a gravel track.
"Helm" mountain-bike tour
36.5 km; 4 ½ hours; 1,272m difference in altitude
The long ascent makes this a difficult tour, especially the even steeper section after the Leckfeldalm requires strength and stamina. You are rewarded by the amazing panoramic view when having a break after the Leckfeldsattel - downhill only after this.
